Torremolinos is a Mediterranean resort town on southern Spain's Costa del Sol, known for its sandy beaches such as El Bajondillo and La Carihuela. Nightlife, dining and shopping are centered on Calle San Miguel. Away from the beachfront and its high-rise hotels are several golf courses and amusement parks, as well as pockets of traditional Andalusian culture such as the village of El Calvario.

Torremolinos is a municipality of Malaga province. Located in a coastal town in the province of Malaga. It is in the west of the province, bordering the town of San Roque and very close to Cádiz. It is a very tourist town, especially in summer due to its good climate and ambience.

La Carihuela beach is an excellent place in Torremolinos. This beach is concentrated. A part of the hotels in Torremolinos. It has a good promenade, excellent for doing sports first thing in the morning. It has many beach bars where you can eat very well, and eat the famous espeto.

Torremolinos is a famous place where a lot of people go in summer, so it can be overcrowded in high seasons.

In 1965 Frank Sinatra came to Torremolinos to record a movie under the command of Mark Robson. At that time, one night when he was dining at the Pez Espada Hotel Restaurant (one of the most luxurious hotels of that time), a paparazzi tried to take photos of him while he was dining. Having seen him, Frank went after him and punched him several times until the police came and arrested him for contempt and disorderly conduct and had to pay a fine of 25,000 pesetas.
