To find the Playa del Palmeral beach on Mojácar Playa; The landmarks would include The Pierre Vacances Apartment Hotel, The Hotel Continental and Bar Neptuno, this area is in majority deemed as Residential. We would describe this area as a focal point for full time living with a large percentage of working professionals owning property here and the connecting Playa La Rumina.

As an area, this is zone for infrastructure is very strong with businesses such as Butcher’s, shops, Bars and Restaurants open all year with regular trade. This area is an example of non-touristic reliance.

The swimming season begins June 15 and ends on September 15; off schedule this season and there is no lifeguard and rescue service.

It is a popular beach for residents with a wide beach, surfing and various festive additions such as Markets, Children’s Carnival depending on the season. Fishing is permitted between 8 pm and 10 am. Please do not leave hazardous items behind: hooks, floats, lines, etc.
